Wow were these waves HUGE! We had a BIG storm come through and I grabbed my camera real quick to go film. I was checking out the flooding around town when I heard Lee, from Malibu’s Surf Shop talking about how giant the waves were. I ventured towards downtown and stopped off at 17th St, right next to the Holiday Inn and when I parked, I could see the waves from over the sea wall! These were by far the biggest waves I’ve seen here. A rough guess had to be 20 feet. I know spots in New Jersey, not far from us, were 20′-25′! Check out the video to see the waves!
